The Water Gum is an elegant, round dense canopied tree growing up to 7-12 metres in height and 3-5 metres in width making this a good shade, screen and hedging tree.

The large, shiny, oblong-shaped green leaves that are copper coloured in new growth and fragrant yellow flowers will attract birds and insects to the garden.

Performs best in well-drained moist soils and partial-shade to full sun.  Prefers warm moist climates but is tolerant to light frost and drought and is suitable for low maintenance gardens.
