Tai Haku Flowering Cherry (Prunus serrulata)

One of the largest flowering cherries, this tree produces very large, single pure white blossoms and has a reddish-bronze new growth.

This deciduous tree makes an excellent shade specimen tree.


Requires shelter from strong winds to maximise the length of blossom time. Provides excellent shade over summer and lets the sun through over the winter months.


Once established, will tolerate periods of dryness but performs best if grown in well-mulched average garden soil.
