The Pride of Bolivia is a fast-growing, winter deciduous tree growing up to 10 metres in height. The flat to round crown and large extending canopy cover make it an excellent shade tree.
A hardy and adaptable tree growing in most soils, drought and frost tolerant and across seasons. This tree is known for it’s reddish-brown bark, bright yellow-orange flowers and spreading winged seeds. The leaves are 30-50 mm long and 12-20mm wide.
The Pride of Bolivia is commonly used as a street tree for it’s shady canopy and bright, showy flowers or in parks and open spaces with a wide planting zones.
