Native to Japan and China the Katsura is an unusual but easily grown tree, known for its beautiful, heart-shaped leaves which turn fantastic shades of yellow, purple and red in autumn.

Canopy
Katsura produces spurs along its twigs with closely spaced leaves. The foliage is dimorphic. Leaf size varies from 3–8 cm long and 3-5.5 cm broad. It produces small inconspicuous flowers. Fruit matures in autumn and release their seeds in autumn through winter

Sheltered area in full sun or light, dappled shade.
