This pine tree can be found all over the asia-pacific region. It can grow in most climates and soils but due to its salt tolerance is often found on coastlines.
Small 1cm cones are formed in groups throughout the leaves which are more twig-like.
Equisetifolia is from the Latin meaning for “horse hair” when describing the branching and how they look.
The Coastal She-oak can be found to grow upwards of 30 metres tall.
